This restaurant has been around since I was a kid. However it has gone down hill since then year after year. I also heard its management has been changed a few times, but I don’t know for sure. And if it has the interior has remained the same. My boyfriend and I stopped in once to order to go. When we entered it was empty except for a child and man at a far table on a computer and some awkward fellow at the front on an old desktop computer. I thought that man would take our order but he ignored us and the guy from the far table came to take it instead. We ordered awkwardly and sat down at the entrance to wait…and we waited…and waited. We were offered water. And we waited some more. I can’t be sure but it felt like an hour. Then finally our order came and we left. At home we opened up our food. I got three types of orange or sesame meat. I can’t remember because there wasn’t even any sauce. Like seriously no sauce. And it was breaded beyond recognition. I stripped three tiny pieces of shrimp of their breading and ate those. There was a mound of breading left over. I had a whole to go box of this crap and I threw it out. My boyfriend got the Szechuan beef and the meat looked undercooked and the flavor was poor and not at all spicy like he asked for. Basically this was one of the worst meals of our lives and we spent $20 something bucks on it. Don’t go to this restaurant. I give it a flat F-
Bad news!. Well for the value that you get it is good but the food is either too much pepper or not enough flavor. Also our fortune cookies were stale and they were like they were sitting there for a couple of years.
This wasn’t Chinese food. This was soggy, flavorless, and strange. Think twice on even giving this place a shot…I was hoping that the previous bad reviews were just being harsh and that I would actually like it. Unfortunately they were correct 🙁
I don’t know if the other reviewers are crazy, or if the place has just changed in the last two years, because I think the food is FANTASTIC! Great prices, and tasty food. The servings are big, and I always have to bring some home to eat later. The servers are always attentive and prompt. My favorite Chinese restaurant in town!
Bitches. All u guys do is bitch, i dont think iv ever herd a single good review about ne restaurant from most people that posted here. quit your bitching. there is only 1 person i know of who HATES everything AZN, but iv still seen him eat there more then 1ce.
We heard this place had changed again recently so we went back to try it. Still no good. No changes were made unfortunately, and so we sat in the stinky little room, trying to eat our meals, but finally decided we couldn’t stomach it and just got out of there. Too bad.28 Oct, 2009Used to love it. Wow. This used to be the best Chinese food in town. We went there awhile ago and it was horrible! I loved the Sesame Chicken before, but now it’s this sticky sweet glaze on a few pieces of crappy chicken. No amount of Soy Sauce can cover it. My husband already isn’t fond of Chinese food, but this really killed it for him. I guess it’s now under New Management? Ya, we won’t be going back sadly.
Under new management?! The food used to be great here before it went under new management. Since when is egg drop soup supposed to be sweet? The rest of the food was bad too. I tried adding anything to mask the flavor. No use!
