FOR FAST FRIED CHICKEN……NOT BADChurch’s Chicken is one of the better fast-food fried chicken places around town. If you enjoy fried chicken and don’t want to get Albertson’s chicken to take home, and you don’t want to sit around in a restaurant and pay a tip…..Church’s is a good bet. I find their chicken superior to KFC. This restaurant is well managed and the chicken is never too greasy….yet it is juicy. They serve the chicken in the traditional recipe or in a spicy style. The mashed potatoes are not great as you would expect. The gravy is just ok. The little rolls that come with the meal are actually pretty good. Prices, of course, are most reasonable.What to expect if you go: A clean, bright atmosphere, quick service, good prices, and pretty satisfying fried chicken.Restaurant rating = TWO-AND-THREE-QUARTER STARS…..MAYBE THREE…….meaning, for the dining experience……typical fast food stuff, but the chicken is pretty good. Will I return? Probably now and then.
