This place is closed….no longer in business as of 2019. FAIRLY GOOD, INEXPENSIVE PIZZA AND SALAD BUFFET FOR FAMILIES ON A BUDGETCiCi’s Pizza Buffet is clearly the best deal in town for families with young children and those on a budget. For $5.00 or $6.00 you can eat all you want….and they might have a deal for three people for around $10.00 or so. Prices of course change over the years. Cici’s has a niche market. The restaurant is large, open, with ample light. It is surprisingly clean and orderly for this kind of place. There is a small room in the rear with games for the kids. You have your pick of approximately 10-15 different pizzas (thick crust, medium crust and thin) all pre-sliced and kept on warmers. The pizzas are made fresh all day long. They also offer some soup and pasta dishes. Breadsticks, brownies, and a small sald bar are available. When I was there the fixins at the salad bar were pretty fresh except for the cucumbers. Overall, the salad bar was passable, but nothing great. The pasta dish I did not care for as the sauce was too tart. The pizza, however, was pretty decent….a good deal for the money. What to expect if you go: An inexpensive pizza buffet in a fairly decent atmosphere. Nothing outstanding here but the pizza is fairly good….especially for the money.Restaurant rating = THREE STARS….maybe THREE-AND-A-QUARTER STARS…..ok for a cheaper fast food type of setup. Will I go again? Not my thing.
FAIRLY GOOD, INEXPENSIVE PIZZA AND SALAD BUFFET FOR FAMILIES ON A BUDGET.CiCi’s Pizza Buffet is clearly the best deal in town for families with young children and those on a budget. It is also a place younger teenagers would enjoy. For $5.00 plus tax (at least the last time I was there it was $5.00) you can eat all you want…and I believe they have a deal for three people for ten dollars. Amazing! A place like this does have a niche market. But, if you are looking for top notch pizza and food……I would not advise you to venture over here. The restaurant is quite large, open, and with ample light. It is very clean…surprisingly clean for this kind of place. It is well managed. There is a small room in the rear with some games for the kids. The bathrooms are large, bright, and clean. For $5.00…IT MAY BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER TODAY… you have your pick of approximately 12-15 different pizzas (thick crust, medium crust, and thin) all pre-sliced and kept up front on warmers. The pizzas are made fresh all day long. There is also a soup and a pasta dish (macaroni like) available. Breadsticks, brownies, and a small salad bar are present. On my recent visit most of the fixins in the salad bar appeared fresh except for the cucumber slices which were a little wilted. There were selections of five salad dressings, croutons, and bacon bits. So, salad bar……passable but not great. The pasta I did not care for…the sauce on it was too tart. But the pizza was actually quite good…made with nice fresh dough. The sauce on the pizza was ok as were the toppings. Now I am not going to sit here and tell you that this was great pizza, but it was fairly good pizza….especially for the money! I would rate the ambiance about a B to B minus (nicer than most fast food joints) and the service pleasant and about a B (which includes the staff which frequently come through sweeping the restaurant and cleaning up tables). The pasta dish I would rate only a C. The salad bar a C plus, and the pizza a B minus to a B…..better than mediocre but not great.. This is not, obviously, the kind of place you search out for a gourmet pizza dinner, but you can get your fill of pretty decent pizza with salad at CiCi’s for a price that can’t be beat. I don’t know how they do it?? CiCi’s is definately a half star up on most fast food places. After all, you can eat all you want, with a salad, for less than a Micky D’s happy meal. Despite some critics….the place does serve a purpose. Out of five……rate CiCi’s THREE STARS…..meaning kind of run of the mill as far as the total dining experience goes. It’s sort of Micky D’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, or CiCi’s with the young- uns….that kind of dining. That’s what we’re talking about here. BOTTOM LINE: WILL I RETURN TO DINE HERE? I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT.
Cant complain for the price. What can I say, its the typical cheap buffet. It gets overrun and the staff lags when it comes to cleaning. But as the title says, for the price you cant complain. The pizza is ok, nothing amazing, nothing terrible. However, Cicis isnt as cheap as it once was, and its no longer the place you can eat for 5 bucks (drink buffet)
