  Not worth waiting an eternity for.. Located next to dominos pizza on North Main, this combination bakery and cafe really seems like a missed opportunity, 1. The food tastes ok but it is way overpriced. We paid $9 for a Cobb salad that was both smaller and less well executed than what is available elsewhere in town for less, and an $9 for an omelet that was nothing special. The bread that the Green Door bakes is good, but you can buy a loaf of it for $4 and make your own toast at home. 2. We arrived at 12:30 on a Sunday and there was a party of 12 at one table, a party of 2 at another table, and us. When we left at 1.15 the party of 12 had still not been completely served (food was coming out in dribs and drabs) and the other party of 2, which arrived just before us, had not been served. So that’s as much as an hour from order to food served. In a cafe with an open kitchen, where the cause of the delay is all too clear. 3. Things take an eternity because the cooking area is way too small for two overweight and one normal sized adult, and the cooks are constantly bumbling into each other, scuffling around for space on the too small cooktop, and, most unforgivably, having to run to the back for this and that. What happened to having your mise en place, people? Obviously they were also doing the food with no regard for the order in which food had been ordered. I predict that this establishment will be out of business within six months as it only takes one frustrating dining experience to make sure there will be no repeat customers.
