Customer Concerns. We came to Dicks Cafe at 10:45am last Saturday looking forward to a great breakfast and then were told they were no longer serving breakfast by the cooks. Very sad how you arbitrarly stop serving even though it says 11am on the menu. One other group walked out hearing the same but we stayed. Our 2 families split the check and were stuck with 18% tip. The service was far from worth it. I has to get up to get my own mustard for.my cheeseburger and had minimal visits for coffee refills by our waitress. We bought jars of salsa and I hope the tip didn’t include it. What was more odd all the servers were sitting at a table having a good time. I hope the owner gets this and reconsiders how customers should be treated, especially when coming from out of and hearing good things about it. I tried contacts those with email links at their website but had no response.
My fianc ordered a breakfast burrito. The tortilla was hard and the cheese inside was not even melted. His sausage patties were burned on one side. To make the experience even worse, our server (Frida) sat down three tables away from us and began a stream of profanities about the other servers and her personal life. The only thing worth enjoying were the chips and salsa.
The food was really good and the servers were really nice. The Mexican food was spot on.
