Tasty Deli Food. Finally found a decent sandwich in Las Cruces. A little pricey for what you end up getting – but the Turkey Reuben was tasty with fresh ingredients. I asked for no pickle, but received a pickle. The sweet tea is good and the large size was even better. The staff was friendly and efficient. McAlisters is a franchise therefore their team is well trained and consistent. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable inside and outside – the view from the patio at night is fab! The only negative is the white floor tiles – they look dirty. Otherwise food is an A-, ambiance a B, service a B+. We’ll be regulars when looking for a true deli sandwich.
Hungry. I saw this place full one day and wanted to see what it was about. I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was great. I found new place to eat for lunch.
Cheap, tasty, fast. Used to come here multiple times a week when I was in college. I’m not sure if they still do it, but they used to offer free tea with a college ID. Which made the meal even more affordable. I normally order the choose two deal with a spud max-extra sour cream and the horseradish roast beef and cheddar sandwich. Sometimes I’ll substitute the cheddar with pepperjack. My friends reave about the mac and cheese as well, but I have yet to try it. The service is always on point and the food is consistently great. Overall, I recommend McAlister’s for a quick lunch. It’s affordable and delicious.
No bang for the buck
Hit or Miss. Sometimes great sometimes not. Depends on who is working I think. The bread can be hard or soggy, the side are really just plain.
Been dissapointed at a lot of the sandwiches served here. Ruben is usually served soggy. But the muffleta is outstanding. Worth the trip just to try it. Highly reccomend.
