A BETTER THAN AVERAGE CHICKEN WING PLACEThe Wingstop in a little plaza at the corner of Missiouri and South Solano is larger than it appears from the front. Inside there are around fifteen tables, a few by the front window and the rest down the side of the restaurant. The ambiance is ok for a casual meal, but this is not exactly a thrilling place to dine. This is not a full-serve restaurant; order at the counter and wait until your food is ready. There is no tipping which will appeal to those who don’t like BWW.I have found the service at the counter pleasant and polite, but it is not the most diligent or efficient to say the least. Quite amateurish actually. Not impressive. The food prep at Wingstop always seems to take awhile. People do call in their orders as they can’t depend on getting their food otherwise, let’s say, within fifteen minutes. As far as the wings go I’ve had BBQ wings with the sauce just slopped over them and dripping off. The fries served with this meal were pretty good with a nice seasoning and not at all greasy. I also sampled their wings with a teriyaki sauce and their garlic and parmesan wings. The garlic and parm wings were a bit dry but they were good. The wings were fairly meaty. The teriyaki wings were wet and also had a good flavor. All-in-all, these were pretty good wings. The experience was an enjoyable one if you you like wings. What to expect if you go: A casual but decent atmosphere, counter service that is friendly but less than spectacular, prep times a little on the long side….nobody busts a hump here….reasonable pricing, and pretty good wings. I like to stop in now and then. They also do a good takeout business.Restaurant rating = THREE-AND-A-HALF STARS…..meaning, above average or better than your usual fast food joint. Will I return to dine? Yes, once in a while.

Best wings!. I have tried wings from so many different places and the Wing Stop has the best wings anywhere! The lemon pepper and the cajun are my favorites. Their wings have great flavor and texture. They blow that buffalo place out of the water!

Wingstop Review. I tried Wingstop in Las Cruces for the first time on a Football Sunday. I ordered 30 wings (half lemon pepper and half hickory smoked BBQ) and 3 sides. The wings were so small that they contained only about one bite per wing. The Hickory Smoked BBQ wings were crunchy underneath as if they had been fried and then basted with sauce. The sides were very small, 3 large tablespoons at best for $1.39 each.Due to the lack of chicken on the wings, I wonder if they are triming the meat from the bone to make their boneless chicken wings. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not return.
