REALLY, REALLY GOOD PIZZAZeffiro Pizzeria Napoletana is a nice, little downtown restaurant fine for dining at lunch or dinner. The restaurant is bright and clean. I find their metal chairs to be somewhat uncomfortable and many of the tables are too small to accommodate the diner’s needs. Given that, the ambiance is nice overall and the dining experience quite pleasant.The service tends toward the professional end of the scale but it could use some improvement here and there. Overall, the service is fine for a casual restaurant.The menu is somewhat restricted; mostly thin crust wood fired pizza, salads, calzones, and some pasta dishes. I believe they offer some lasagna and steak dishes in the evening. This restaurant also serves as a bakery with delicious bread that can be purchased by the loaf and taken home.I have found their pasta dishes to be ok but nothing special. Their artisan bread is high quality, the salads are ok, and their pizza (thin crust wood fired) is excellent…..among the best in town. Prices are most reasonable.What to expect if you go: A nice place, good service, a somewhat restricted menu, (kind of halfway between a pizza parlor and a real Italian restaurant) and upper level food for a pizza parlor. Pizzas are excellent. Zeffiro’s has gone through periods in the past when they did not have their act together, but they now have it so.Restaurant rating = FOUR STARS…..meaning quite good for the overall dining experience.
