Be Afraid, Very Afraid. I got a takeout order last Wednesday, lady was nice, food was good. Friday I decided to take my boyfriend there. Girl brought us our soup carrying it with her thumb in the soup, then when she was bringing us our plates, she dropped the egg roll on the floor, proceeded to pick it up and PUT IT BACK ON MY PLATE. I wish we would have left then. I told her that she just picked that up off the floor, and I guess she didn’t understand why that was a bad thing, but took it back and brought me back another very greasy one. The shrimp in my chow main weren’t deveined, and then the same lady who had been so nice on Wednesday came around and instead of asking if everything was ok, asked us if we paid our bill. Terrible, terrible experience. Too bad, really wanted to like this place.

Inconsistent. The service is always friendly, however the food can be great on one visit and not so great on another visit, (taste and stomach upset).I have eaten from BL many times mostly carry out, but the way the economy is and the fact that it’s usually my family’s main meal of the day I cant afford to pay for a meal and then hope for the best. 50/50 on BL. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

Very Good Quality. We’ve tried many of the local (Rio Rancho) Asian restaurants but Best Lee’s has the best quality ingredients by far. Have never eaten in the restaurant but take out has always been accurate. Our favorite is the Happy Family, made spicy per our request. The shrimp is very good size, scallops, and other ingredients are very good quality. Recommend trying.

Wonderful!. I decided to give Best Lee’s a try after passing by it so many times. I ordered take out about 4:00. The woman behind the counter was a sweet as can be and also very helpful! They had a ton of food options on the menu. The food items were both old favorites and things that you see in higher end Chinese restaurants. The food was wonderful! They had the best crab rangoon I’ve had in years, the chicken fried rice was just perfect, and the orange chicken was just as good. The breading on the chicken was nice and crisp and the orange sauce was sweet with a hint of spice. The prices for the dinner menu were about $9 a piece (for the entrees at least. The egg rolls and other sides were much, much cheaper.), but their portions are very big. Their lunch menu also starts around $5.All around, I think I’d give this place an A!

Disappointment. We went there for dinner and were very disappointed. The crab rangoon wasn’t bad, it was just excessively oily. There was a substantial amount of oil left on the plate after letting them sit for a bit. The sweet and sour chicken serving size was large, for the money, but it left an oily taste in our mouths and the amount of chicken in the pieces was so small we couldn’t really tell it was there. On top of that, it tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The restaurant itself was ok. There were a few Chinese themed items there, but it just didn’t feel like any effort was put into it. When we looked at the buffet bar there was a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch on top with the lid off. (Who knows how long it was sitting out?) The restaurant seemed pretty clean, but it just felt worn down. All in all, Best Lee’s was a let down. I don’t think we’ll be going back…
