Lunch on a Saturday. Looking forward to some good New Mexican food. What a disappointment! The food was NASTY. It was the worst meal we’ve had in a long time. The young waiter was very helpful and attentive, but even when we saw that he wrote some stuff down about our order, the kitchen staff still ignored it. We got several apologies from our waiter for several things gone wrong, but the fault was not his. The kitchen staff seemed to be poor at reading the order, and the food was very poor quality. For the price, they should be doing a lot better. I would not go back there again.
I cannot recommend this place. The service was poor and the food was not fresh tasting. It was a disappointment, and a waste of quite a bit of money.
When a Mexican restaurant starts serving pizza you know something is not right
Food is good… When it finally comes out… Have been in several times (that’s why I say food is good) you might want to have a snack before you arrive especially since they are very stingy with the chips , the staff never knows the menu and 9 times out of 10 they are rude , I have had to get up and get my own water more than once . I always give them the benefit of the doubt each time we go but nothing changes . If they changed management and train employees I know this place would succeed .
A Hidden Gem. Why this place wasn’t on our radar sooner, I’ll never know. The place was busy on a Friday evening, but not overly so. The Acapulco Gold draft was frosty and very good. The salsa and chips were excellent. The entree my wife requested, from the menu, is no longer served. The proprietor said they hadn’t served that for 5 years or so. Why is it still on the menu then? It was a grilled whole chicken leg. They should have made it for her, since the newly-hired server wrote it down. He clearly didn’t know that just because something is on the menu means they’ll actually prepare it for you! All things considered, the food we were served was very good, a decent portion size, and reasonably priced. The owner is affable and friendly. We’re thinking about returning to try a Sunday breakfast/brunch…………
Great food, beer and service!. Tried Cazuelas Mexican Grill after reading some mixed reviews on it. It was very good! They brew all their own beer on site which was very good. Try the Piedra del Fuego! The seafood was exceptional! I know what you’re thinking seafood at landlocked restaurant, but it was fresh and very tasty! We had the ceviche and fish tacos. Our server was also on top of it she did an amazing job. Thank you Cazuelas!
Great beer, terrible food. Im giving this a thumbs up because the beer is actually very good here and unfortunately under rated. But I would not eat here, got some appetizers and most were still frozen right out of the frier.
