The food is decent… If you ever get it. Every weekend I go and wait 30 minutes for two burritos. Today I had to drive off after waiting for 25 mins and there was only 1 car in front of me. I’m not going back anymore. As a cook for 15 years I would fire that slow cook in a second. Its too expensive for bad service. Unfortunately that seems to be the trend everywhere I go. Pay a decent cook more than 8.50 an hour if you want a good restaurant. Such a shame. I love their food but I won’t go back.

Little Anitas Rio Rancho. I grew up in the South Valley. My friends and I frequented the Little Anita’s carryout on Isleta thousands of times. Needless to say, I was very pleased to see the Rio Rancho location open up. It very much reminds me of the other loacation (before remodeling). Its about the food, not necessarily the ambiance (its a carryout for goodness sake). The food is delicious and inexpensive. Some of my favorite menu items are: Carne adovada enchiladas, soft taco plate, and of course the shredded beef nachos. My grandaughter loves the crunchy beef taco’s. I also like the fact that they still put their food in metal containers, so the food is piping hot when you get it home. Cheers to Little Anita’s I hope your location does well.
