My family and I just sat down to order food to go, but we wanted to have spring rolls and egg rolls while we waited for our food. They brought our rolls, but didn’t bring any napkins or offer us water. When I asked the lady at the front for napkins she acted annoyed. Then I had to get up and ask for waters too. She acted like I was interrupting her personal time, and then she sat our waters on the counter several feet down from where I was sitting. Very bad service. We won’t return.
Went down hill under new owner!!!. My wife and I used to love this place but it recently changed owners and is no longer the same. They took out the egg rolls on their dry noodle bowls and must be purchased as an extra on the side. 14.00 plus tax for the bowls and the portions have gone way down, then another 6 dollars for egg rolls??!! There are too many good Vietnamese places around town to pay these new ridiculous prices here. Unfortunately we will no longer go here.

Great Food, Afforable price. I work for electronics company about 1/2 miles from Viet Rice restaurant and eat here almost three times per week for luncheon. My favorite dishes are Pho ( Vietnamese beef noodle soup ), hot pot seafood and lemon grass chicken. The last time I tried the grilled beef wrapped with grape leaves and it was so so delicious and tasty….I like this place and recommend for someone out there knows the area very well or too new to Rio Rancho, NM…
Viet Rice is Under New Management. I have diner with my family last weekend. Diner was great and customer service was wonderful. I spoke to the Operation Manager here and he told me the Viet Rice is under new management and they treat the customers very courteously and warm welcome. I told them I will definitely come back and will recommend to people out there about the great food and courteously service…. It is still family own and operates but the service is much much better and thing changes a lots…
Excellent!!. My wife and I eat here at least once a week; I took a couple of friends in while teaching in Rio one week and they liked it so well we went back everyday so they could try another menu item. My favorites are the Pho, Crispy Fried Shrimp or Spicy Rice Dish. My wife’s favorite is the Hot Clay Pot. Always clean with attentive but not overbearing staff. Try the shrimp spring rolls for an appetizer, fresh and tasty!!
