Meat is Dry, Expensive and Macaroni and Cheese is Bland and Chalky Not Worth the Money You Spend. Wings are good but over priced.. brisket is dry and is expensive. macaroni and cheese as a side is disgusting. bland and has a chalky texture! For 6 wings 1/3 brisket and a side of mac and cheese 18 dollars! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!
Recommended for catered event. I was surprised they are closed on the weekend, but left phone message for ownership to call on Monday for a large Tuesday take-out order for a work gathering. The employee was very accommodating and professional. The food was ready when stated, packaged for ease in transporting by car and tasted awesome. We had many happy employees. Highly recommend them for catered events.

Brisket was delicious.
Getting even better – 3.5 Stars. Back after over a year. Food has improved even more. Ham is now good and they have added smoked chicken wings. Highly recommended the wings! The wings come in two varities…spicy BBQ and Buffalo. I’m still at my table and considering another order of smoked wings to go.22 Mar, 2010Good option for BBQ…. 4 Stars – Bob’s is located in an antiquated strip mall in north Los Alamos, at the corner of Arkansas and Diamond, directly behind the gas station. There aren’t many dining choices in this part of town, so Bob’s is well appreciated for it’s location.Inside the restaurant, the decor is bright, clean and functional. There is a large dining room and an order counter is in the back. Bob’s has a large menu offering all types of BBQ varietals. The prices are fair for what you’re getting. And by Los Alamos standards, the price is quite good.We ordered a large platter to feed our family of 6. We wanted to try a little bit of everything, so that’s what we did. We ordered a rack of spareribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, sausage links, ham, BBQ beans, potato salad and dinner rolls. We were in hog heaven. The food was served up pretty quickly. The ribs, links and chicken were down right excellent. The pulled pork and brisket were very good. The ham was only fair, and I wouldn’t order it again. The BBQ beans were good, but were more savory than sweetatypical for a BBQ joint. We really liked Bob’s and will definitely eat there again.
Visitor to town. Came upon Bob’s from local’s recs and would recommend it myself for local atmosphere, owners interest in customer satisfaction, excellent BBQ ribs and pulled pork. Many locals were take-out while others took their time and read books and talked. A hang-loose atmosphere with good BBQ and beer for friends and family.
I’ll let others argue regionality of BBQ. It taste like BBQ. Stop at the Black Hole after lunch.
