I stopped eating meat, but just before I did I went to Stufy’s for a last hurrah and had the carne adovada sopa! Uh! It’s so AMAZING! I love this place. It feels like retro Albuquerque. It’s been around forever, and they are great people. I also love how quick it is! It’s so fun and original.
Worst Mexican Food I have ever had. I am from Las Cruces and am used to Southern New Mexican food…while I don’t think any Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque is as good as Las Cruces Mexican food. Stufy’s was BY FAR the WORST restaurant I have ever eaten at in my whole life. NO EXAGGERATION!! I ordered the red enchilada plate…the red chile was brown and looked like it came out of a can and they use Velveta cheese on their freaking enchiladas instead of fresh cheese…I honestly did not understand it….we live in New Mexico!!! Enchiladas should never look like that…If you think going here is going to be a good idea, think again and go to Taco Bell, because that would honestly taste better. I cannot speak about their service, because we just ordered it to go and picked it up, but my goodness it was AWFUL!!
