  This place is closed. Has been for months.The window and doors are boarded up. I do hope that the owners do open up or sell the business. Hate to see an entire building vacant.

  Local Tradition. This is a local tradition with generations of customers returning year after year. The place is always packed during the dining hours and often you have to wait a while to be seated. The food is very traditional American and New Mexican comfort food and a good value for the money. This is not the place for gourmet fare, but it is a place to slake your hunger with the food your mother and grandmother served at their table.

  Great food, Great service. The food and service is always good. What more could you ask for? The chile is great and the carne adovada is some of the best I’ve ever had.

  Really nice building, just ok food.. When you have some really good choices why pick thisplace that is just average. There are several places in valencia county that are much better. So really why bother. I do go here once in awhile because a family member likes it. By valencia county standards the building is very nice. But food is just ok. Teofilos in Los Lunas is much better. But my top Pick forNew Mexican in Valencia County is Francis Cafe in Belen.

  The food is consistant and very good. The price is not unreasonble and in my opinion, the salsa is too die for.
