Sunday mornings host musical entertainment such as The Bosquetonics, whose southern folky sounds made my meal taste so much better. The Huevos Rancheros was on point, the Carne Adovada was spicy and flavorful, tortillas are huge and warm, coffee flowed plentiful, atmosphere is just what you’d expect from an old New Mexican diner. Would definitely recommend to friends!
Such an awesome restaurant run by some awesome people. El Camino is such a part of old Albuquerque that I could just hush about it all day. The food is fantastic in that classic New Mexican way. The home fries are pure comfort food, and go perfectly with a green chile chicken enchilada. It is also family run, and they make you feel right at home with them.

Had lunch, alone, on Sunday, between appointments. Service was great, prices are very reasonable, and the food is very good! Many restaurants treat a single, especially when they’re busy, like a plague victim… Not El Camino! I was warmly welcomed, and service was phenomenal. A nice, family run business. Atmosphere is wonderful. I will be back!!
