I had the London Fog with soy milk and a Cranberry Orange Muffin. The London Fog was delicious. The muffin was fresh and amazing. Though the inside is not very big, there is a large outdoor seating area. This is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or hang out. It has a cute patio with a lot of birdhouses and plants that make for a relaxing atmosphere.
Lovely Lunch on a plate for under $5.. The Grilled Cheese sandwich here is my favorite lunch in town for under $5.00. And it will delight the eye as well as the mouth. It is grilled on a French baguette that has been toasted and slowly flattened, cut in half, and it is very easy to eat unlike some baguette sandwiches which can be overly chewy. The Lunch Box does this right. They also serve on the same plate a delicious side salad with dark greens and sweet pecans and pear slices all drizzled with a red vinaigrette dressing, the perfect complement of tangy for the gooey, comforting grilled cheese and toasty bread. Get a glass of water with lemon wedge and you have a Lovely Lunch which is very affordable. Add to this taste treat the shady back courtyard with tables and chairs, and you will have a departure from your hectic day that truly refreshes.
Good coffee, fresh baked good.s. Tried them out with a cluster of friends last weekend, Ive known the owners for a long time, and only a bit ago figured out where it was and found time to come to a place that does not have dinner. Their specials boards on facebook always call to me, but they don’t post them until the day of, so that part is a little hit or miss. Had a fairly well made and tender but not spicy carne adovada breakfast burrito and good coffee, a very tasty mini bunt cake. Ill be sure to give them a few more goes, see what they do best.
