Needs improvement. Overpriced! I had the huevos and the pinto beans were not cooked all the way. Some of the beans had a crunch. The dish could have been amazing but fell way short. The potatoes were not great either. My partner had the french toast which was pretty good. The coffee was good but would have ordered just the one free refill instead of bottomless. nice decor.
Over priced for microwaved food!! Came in for take out lunch today, the 9$ full salads were the size of my fist. Roasted pork tough & cold & tasted like yesterday’s supper warmed up. Breakfast burrito was ok, nothing special but not bad. Fish tacos were tasty but tortillas cold & tough. Overall, not worth 60$$$$. Tried to call about our order & the # listed on their website goes to a full voice mailbox. Cute place but they won’t last if they don’t focus more on their food & less on the aesthetics of their store.
Hartford is delicious gourmet delights not found elsewhere in ABQ. Our golden raisin and apricot chicken with mushroom risotto was scrumptous. The meyer lemon and beet salad with ginger vinaigrette was sublime. We can not get enough. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain
Yummy lunch. Just ate here for the first time. Hartford Square is a great addition to the EDo neighborhood. I ordered the turkey sandwich. The bread is absolutely first rate. Its made on premises and was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten more of the bread alone….I imagine it would make great toast! The iced tea is blood orange tea and had an unusual, but really good taste. I overheard another customer raving about his Kale Salad and Carrot Soup. I’ll try both of those on my next visit…which will be sooner than later. I can’t stand seeing overtly negative reviews, especially for a restaurant that is trying very hard to do something different in ABQ. Please give this restaurant a shot!
Novice at cooking??. I would disagree with the person who said they could do your order over. No, if they can’t get it the first time, why would I want to wait for recooking while everybody at the table can finish up before my plate even comes out ( again) ? If we ordered together, get the plates out RIGHT the FIRST time so we can also be on the same time schedule and EAT TOGETHER! This eating in shift while you guys learn is not what I’m paying for. Pastries or biscuits here. Leave the horsing around and the learning to cook for someone else to pay for.
Not going back. Some friends suggested trying Hartford Square for breakfast and off we went. It is a nice space but the food I received wasn’t very good. I had the traditional eggs, potatoes, and their cheddar sage biscuit. I asked for eggs over easy and they were clear on the top. the whites hadn’t set and the potatoes were probably made the day before as they were lukewarm and soggy. I’m guessing this as we were the first to order that particular morning. The biscuit was very good, thankfully, but the rest of the meal was a disappointment.
Great spot with lots of potential I had the stuffed pepper it was really tasty with coffee and juice. I will be back
