Nice Diner Atmosphere but…. They missed the boat on the biscuits and gravy. the sausage gravy was bland and flavorless. everything else is fine. the home fries are tasty and the over medium were eggs cooked perfectly. I’ve also enjoyed lunch there on a couple of occasions: sandwiches and soups will not disappoint.

Wonderful Carne Adovada. The carne adovada at Annie’s Soup Kitchen is spectacular! It’s a special offered every second or third Saturday. It’s served in an omelet for breakfast and lunch, although you may be able to get it as a burrito if you ask nicely. The carne adovada is not too hot and not too mild–it’s just right. On days when the carne adovada is not offered, I usually have the bacon and avocado omelet or the make-your-own omelet–and both are delicious. For lunch, try the open-face turkey and avocado sandwich. It’s excellent!

Loved this place!. My dad use to take me to Annie’s when I was a kid and teen, I’m now in my late twenties and I just went back yesterday. It is still exactly how I remembered it: homemade, fresh, comforting and tasty. It’s not the place to go for breakfast if you want some Quinoa inspired tofu creation, but if you are in the mood for good old fashioned home cooking with a killer cup of coffee, you should try this place! Their staff is the same staff that was there when I went ten years ago, and they are pleasant, courteous and helpful. It’s like having breakfast at your grandma’s house. Their green chili sauce is great and not too hot or too bland, and their prices are awesome. Overall I’m impressed that this place has maintained the same level of food and service this long and it should be an example to breakfast and lunch places that wish to keep customers happy and coming back! Thank you Annie’s!

Awesome!. Super friendly staff and great food! Our drinks were always topped off, the food was cooked wonderfully, and you can’t go wrong with freshly made bread 🙂

Blackberry Crepes: the Ultimate Guilty Pleasure. Annie’s blackberry Crepes are a culinary masterpiece and are totally unique in the breakfast marketplace. Light crepes filled with sweet cream cheese and topped with whole blackberry sauce – and, what the hell, you might as well go for the whipped cream too! The only complaint we have about Annie’s is that they are the first to raise their prices in difficult economic times… but don’t misunderstand me, it’s a good value when you’re looking for a little guilty pleasure.

Annie’s experience. I have been an Annie’s customer for about twenty years, and I still look forward to going there for breakfast or lunch. The sandwiches are excellent with my favorite being grilled ham and cheese on sourdough with green chile. I always substitute veggie sticks for chips…maybe so I won’t feel guilty about ordering a homemade dessert. Their carrot cake is great, and so is the coconut cream pie. The service is excellent and you’ll never run out of tea or coffee.

Annie’s Soup Kitchen is a little mom and pop shop that has wonderful breakfast and lunch dishes. One of my favorite is the Quiche’s (Green Chile Ham to be exact), which is awesome because they serve them all day. They come with your choice of bread, which I always pick the Zucchini Pecan. Which could be used as dessert but why pass up their amazingly huge Angel Food Cake. If your in the mood for friendly service and homemade delectables you should with no doubt stop in. Just remember if you want breakfast make sure you go before 11am (except for Sunday, breakfast is served all day).
