DISAPPOINTING!!!!!! Low quality and soggy food. Don’t waste your money!!!!!. My husband and I are from out of town and tried this restaurant on a recommendation. The wonton soup was bland and had soggy wonton noodle, we didn’t finish it: Egg rolls were large – with soggy cabbage and were greasy, didn’t finish eating either: Almost no sauce in my Sesame Chicken and the sauce tasted bad with low quality chicken and bad seasoning. My husband ordered Sha Cha Beef and it was soggy, overcooked, and was low quality beef (if you can call it that) smothered in soggy onions with one piece of broccoli. This was the WORST. Maybe lunch menu is better but we will not be returning. I am surprised by any positive comments and the high rating of this restaurant.
Ginger Beef worth going back for.. I had great service and my meal was cooked perfectly. The Ginger Beef was packed with flavor and quite delightful. I adore ginger and this dish exceeded my expectations.
Great Chinese flavors. I have eaten at Ho Lo Ma since I was a teenager with my family! They are very clean, cordial and the food is so tasty. The meet is so tender, you need no knife to slice it. There are many selections from mild to very hot and spicey dishes. There are vegetarian and seafood dishes as well as meat. At lunch you can get a combination plate that is reasonably priced and filling.
Yes, we DO like it!. Surprised by the negative reviews posted here. We eat at Ho Lo Ma all the time and have never been disappointed. I really like their spicy dishes and their Crab Rangoon!

Inedible. 7/26/12, first visit ever: I ordered a combo plate for lunch. The veggies were unrecognizable … just mushed together in a blob… all the same color … drowning in some kind of tasteless white sauce. Everything smelled awful. The rice was mushy … couldn’t distinguish the individual kernels. The eggroll was dripping with oil. The sweet and sour chicken was terrible – raw inside. How can anyone like this place? When we walked in at about 12:15, we were the only customers. Should’ve listened to my instincts to get the heck out before we were seated.
Food stove hot not spicy hot, waitress took our soup before we were done, first Chinese place I’ve ever eaten at that charges for basic menu substitutions might just be the places here in abq? It been the best of the worst but I’d rather go to panda express sadly enough
