Easy access off I-10 for a good Mexican food experience before hitting the wastelands of West Texas. Prices are very reasonable and service is excellent and fast. What’s not to like? The Carne Adovada. It had decent flavor but was very dry and needed to be drowned in one of the salsas from the salsa bar. The beans and rice were great, though.
Great Choice. I come to this restaurant on a regular basis. The food is never disappointing. I highly suggest and approve Adele’s.
Fantastic Mexican meal!. The food here is great. I had the combo with one of everything. Salsa bar was a treat. The tasty salsas here are like none I have ever had before. Excellent food!
Frozen poppers. Great service, and an exceptionally accommodating staff, but less than impressed with the quality of the food. I don’t expect that every restaurant will make their stuffed jalapeo peppers on site, but I do expect them to be cooked when they come to the table. Half of the peppers in our single order were still FROZEN. And the corn tortillas that came with my order were dried out and brittle. Server replaced the tortillas promptly but it made us all worried about quality control in the kitchen. The great service wasn’t enough to convince us to ever go back.
Not Bad!. Overrated I think, but it is good! I’m proud of Andrea and what she has done since leaving La Posta as a server decades ago! The Tacos a la Carbon are my go to plate at this establishment. I’d order the chicken or pork because the beef tends to be tough. They have great salsas and good service. It is a fun place to dine and for you touristas, tex-mex, and gringos you’ll love it!
McDonald’s has Better service and healthier food in a friendlier atmosphere. Because of allergies I asked to substitute one item on my $12.00 entree and was told: No substitutions are allowed. It was said like a policeman accusing one of a crime. What a way to insult a customer and ruin their meal. My stomach was churning. Usually tip 25% to help the students waiting tables. Not this time and not this server who, in this economic turndown, may want to remember a good business principle that the customer is always right.
Excellent posole. The staff at our hotel recommended Andele and we were not disappointed. We started with the posole, a homony soup with pork and red chile. It was excellent. The enchiladas and the tacos were also very good and at a great price!
