ONE OF THE VERY BEST IN CRUCESI used to eat at St. Claire’s in Albuquerque & when I saw there was one here, I was stoked! I’m so happy to say that I haven’t been disappointed! Their waitstaff is definitely way better than other places here, they actually do a superb job. The ambiance is lovely & the patio is so full of plants, I love it!The food is delicious, they know what they’re doing with their cooking, flavors & plating. When eating lite, I love the salads. They’re fresh, tasty & the different dressings are YUMMY! The bread & butter is so good, I can’t stop eating it. My favorite appetizer is the Caprese, I love the mozzarella!I’ve gotten so many different entree’s & I’m always pleased. Their burgers are SO GOOD! The green chile chicken Alfredo is delish! The meatloaf is unlike any other, it’s really good! I could go on but, I say try it for yourself!I love so many of St Claire’s wine My absolute favorite is the Belissimo, it’s sparkling, refreshing & goes great with everything! This restaurant is consistently delicious & I always feel content when I leave
Wonderful food, good service, a Las Cruces Jewel!. Our school staff eats here each Christmas for our Christmas Party luncheon. we love it! One of our staff eats here on her birthday annually, and when one of our other staff members had a special occasion, our church selected this restaurant to have our celebratory luncheon. A lot of us choose the open-face potroast sandwich…excellent. Wine choices are many and varied and delicious! I bought a whole bag full to take home as gifts for friends! I have even phoned ahead for a large take out order and it was ready on time and piping hot! May St. Clair’s continue to serve Las Cruces for many years to come…
Wow what a fantastic place to eat , as good as it gets. I am a world traveler and it is very hard to please my self and my European born mother! St clairs did on all points from great ataff and service to fantastc wine .We had Bellissimo best sparkling wine I have tasted in years my very picky Mother agreed and already plans to take some home with her. We had a cheese nosh with 5 cheess 2 types of meat , olives, raspberries, and chocolate! Then I had a kale Brussels sprouts salad with a delish honey mustard dressing. Mom had the poproast which she said was better then hers meat was fall apart tender. Total 5 atars plus for the lovely view and great romantic setting
Lunch for two. I’ve eaten there a couple of times now. we’ve had the pork medallions which were very flavorful. We’ve also had the steak with mushroom gravy, cooked the I asked and quite good. The pasta with shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels, was good as well (they didn’t scrimp on the scallops, etc.)the bread is a little crusty but it was still ok. and lastly I had the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and vegetables and the portions were large and delicious.we were both pleased with the service and the speed with which the food was brought out. and it was definitely not brought out cold but hot right off the grill. I haven’t had any of the desserts as yet so I can’t comment on those.the atmosphere is pleasant, clean and conducive to a good dining experience. I will definitely be going back.
Awesome place and cool people
Loved it!. Cute and romantic restaurant! the pasta new mexico is amazing!!
Reservaitons?. We have eaten at the St Clair Winery & Bistro 5 times, each time with a reservation made well in advance. On 3 occasions the reservation was not honored as made.Once we specifically asked to be seated on the patio, because of the musical group (over a week in advance) and the only seating was indoors; second time we were forgotten, and after a half-hour we were seated at a small table in a corner of a private room with a large noisy party; an most recently we waited about 50 minutes, but did get a good table. The wines are good by local standards, OK if compared these from the West Coast; hardly spectacular. The food is OK, but routine for this price range. Service by the wait persons always very good. St Clair Winery & Bistro is not on our short list, unless we are hungry for aggravation. 2 stars.
