We ordered the Picada plate for 2 with a taste of everything on the menu and enough food for 3. The Coffee Flan for desert is a must.
Not Good First Impression. We wanted to give Ajiaco a try about a week ago. It was a Saturday night and they looked busy. We asked the waitress to be seated and she said she would have a table ready for us soon. We assumed that meant that an empty table needed to be cleared. Ten minutes later, we were still standing there.That is when I noticed that all the tables were full and not a single person had a plate of food in front of them. Some had empty drink glasses, which told me they had been waiting for a while. That was when I overheard a waitress apologize to a table for the long wait. We immediately excused ourselves and left.The wait staff looked very inexperienced and unable to handle a simple situation. We are still deciding if we will give them another try.
If you haven’t gone GO!. Wow! Ajiaco is amazing the cuisine is mouthwatering, tasty, and just beautiful to look at! Everything from appetizers to desserts to the lulo was like a flavor bomb in my mouth! I highly recommend eating at Ajiaco, the people are friendly, the service is great, the atmosphere is simple, everything about Ajiaco is delightful!!
