Worst mexican restaurant so far…caldo res was a joke…drunk guy in the bar in the middle of the day food poorly plated..not fresh, looks like it has been sitting in the kitchen too long..the servers were okay.
Please do not eat here. We had to suffer through a woman singing and playing a guitar-she was terrible! The music was blaring and annoying. The food was overcooked, poorly presented and bland.
The best Mexican Food. I always eat in Bandidos is one of the authentic Mexican Food in Albuquerque. Super Burrito is a Huge Burrito very good flavor, agua de Horchata is a rice water very good. The service is one of the best in very good looking women of course Mexican girls. My experience in this place is the best.
This Place should be shut down!. I will write another review for this place. I want people to know not to spend there money here! I gave this place chance after chance and still Bad service, cold food, DIRTY TABLES when I walked in! One time I had good service here and young girl with glasses treated me with respect and was Funny but now she is no were to be found there! She probably got fired for being a good server! LOL anyways this place is Funny and a joke I grab the owners business card from the table and a women owns it! She must not be real because anyone can see this place needs to fire everyone and get a new staff! Oh and all the servers are all eating sitting down and relaxing while you are trying to dine and relax LOL. this place is a joke very disappointing!
Lame hideout. The worst service ever its like the worst servers ever all became best friends and decided to open a restraunt. The food is not all that good but its cheap, but with the anger you feel when you leave aint worth the head ache.
Cheap food. I am a student at UNM. There are many times that I face a personal budget crisis. Bandido’s is always there to help. I am able to sit down, have chips and salsa and order a quarter chicken with rice, beans and tortilla and leave there just about $3.50 lighter. At that price, it is cheaper than making it all myself.
Margaritas reminiscent of gargling salt water for a sore throat. One word: NO. I’m not trying to be bitchy or overly picky, but the margarita my friend and I ordered was so salty that it tasted like gargling salt water for a sore throat. I’m not sure if they forgot the tequila or what, but after one large margarita that was barely drinkable, I felt no buzz whatsoever. The salt was down about 2 inches on the rim of the glass! The waitress acted as if she was doing us a favor by taking our order: 2 margaritas. We went at 2pm, so no one was there, yet it still took 15 minutes after we were finished to get the check. I can’t even imagine what the food is like. Yeah, it might be across from UNM, and students usually aren’t that picky. BUT, this is one student who knows that she can go right down the street to ANY other restaurant and have a better experience.
