I love the burgers here! If the sriracha burger is available, order it immediately! It is not too hot but huge on flavor! I am obsessed with the fried pickle they put on the side. It’s to die for. Unfortunately, we have not yet had a successful to-go order with getting everything we ordered. This is also the only place where I have to be afraid of asking for ketchup because they are very stingy with sauces and charge per sauce serving. The sauces are good but not good enough to warrant that level of protection. Also, my husband is gluten-free. While we appreciate having a gluten-free bun, B2B will not toast the gluten-free bun because they have cross-contaminated all of the possible toasting surfaces. This is a bummer for my husband because non-toasted gluten-free buns taste very similar to hockey pucks.
B2B is a fun place to go and hang out with friends. It’s always hopping, but we’ve usually had very good, cheerful service. My sweetie loves local and wacky beers, and B2B has both in abundant supply. (Graham cracker beer, anyone? It was actually pretty good.) I’m not much of a drinker, so I really appreciate their selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. The Mojito Spritzer is great. They grow the mint on the roof, and it is almost always sparkling fresh. (The one exception was the time a friend and I arrived before opening and they let us in, delivered drink orders, and let us hang out until the kitchen opened.)I like their emphasis on local ingredients when possible. The burgers are not the best in town, but they’re very good. Order medium-rare to make sure they’re juicy enough. The fries are excellent, especially with smoked ketchup on the side! I’m a big fan of all their sauces, and the cool dining room and convivial atmosphere make this a great place to hang out. unfussyepicure.com
This is one of my favorite Nob Hill locations to go with my wife. We frequent this spot nearly monthly and have enjoyed ourselves all but one time. The single negative experience was marred only by the incredibly long time (45 mins.) we waited for our burgers. However, they have consistently delicious food, great beers, tasty cocktails, interesting creations, good service, and a great vibe! I highly recommend!
Its all about Options!. I really like Bistronomy. Stopped here on a whim for a burger last week and really fell in love with it, and it is really about the options. I like that they have a build your own burger and you can choose between different buns, meats, fries, and so much more. The place is really modern in style, the service was excellent and the food was out of this world. I did a build your own 2/3 lb burger with provolone cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. It was great, just too big for me – yet I ate it all…
Same Experience with Varying Quality. Do NOT go early. We had to return our hockey puck burgers and they still came back dry. In the evening, it is ah-mazing. Too bad. I’ve been there around 6 times and now I’m turned off.
Lunch was pretty bad ! Burgers overdone, taco chips on Rosa were Doritos! The front window was open and the restaurant was freezing – eat fast the car is warm.
Services like day and night.. The first time we visited, everything was great. Good burgers and cheap drinks and beer so we raved to our friends and decided to take them. However, this time around things were completely backwards. They were our of everything on draft and the few things they did have seemed to be the rejected left overs they were pushing on us. The burgers were burnt and dry. The buns over toasted and black. Wait staff wasnt friendly and seemed to be bothered when we would point out the problems in our orders. Didnt offer to remake or bring us something else. Simply took away the plates and didnt come back until we asked for the check. We were actually embarrased to have brought our friends and put them through that. My main problem with this is that the services were black and white. So what am I to face the next time I go? Is it worth taking te risk?I think Im better off going to another burger joint that I know will nail it every time.
