Try the pizzettas! Best pizza in town for sure and only 6 bucks
Very Impressed. I have been here before, but only for the beer. They have a good selection of awesome New Mexican beer. I went there last night with my girlfriend for dinner and boy was I impressed. The Classico Porchetta sandwich was very tasty as was the Caesar salad I choose with the meal. I will be going back very soon as the prices and quality of food and beer are too good to pass up. I am looking forward to trying more of their dishes.
Busy but Tasty. Took a chance going here after reading about it in the Alibi. Despite it being super crowded and having to pay to park, I was pretty impressed. My husband and I took his mother there the day before we got married last year. I was worried she may not like it when we arrived, seeing it laden with a predominantly college crowd, but was soon put at ease when she seemed perfectly comfortable sitting with us on the patio and ordering a Marble Wheat on tap. The man and I shared two pizzettas and a salad. Every bite was yummy and we had plenty of food. Everything on the menu is either $5 or $6. Awesome.Drawback: not enough seating for its growing popularity.Pluses: delicious food at a very reasonable price, great place for people-watching, and it’s dog friendly.Recommended: Prima Pizzetta and the Herb Neapolitan Pizzetta
Fresh, Tasty, Affordable. I came here the other day for lunch with a friend and ordered the mufaletta with a ceasar salad, the white bean hummus with pita chips, and one of their Marble beers. The ceasar salad was delicious and had capers in it which was a nice twist on a classic. The mufaletta was also quite tasty. My favorite was the white bean hummus but the one detractor was that it didn’t come with chips–I had to buy the pits chips separately. My guest ordered the Verde Porchetta which was absolutely fantastic! Next time I will be ordering that with a ceasar salad. Overall though, the prices are extremely affordable. A beer, a sandwich, side salad, hummus, and chips came out to under $13. The location is also good for any students needing a break between classes like my friend who was joining me. I recommend this place for sure!
A starving college students heaven. I’m a regular at the dive and for good reason! After all, where else can I walk away with a $13 and some change tab for five brews and gorge myself on the delicious and plentiful Modern Greek salad for $6? Don’t have unrealistic expectations about this place, I mean really the name says it all. Tasty food, cheap drinks, and a patio to chain smoke. What more could a college kid ask for?
Good. Very cool place. Best spot to get affordable good beer. Owner was constantly lurking around though making for a slightly awkward time. He wasn’t interested in any of the customers… looked more like he was just constantly checking up on his own staff. Kind of made me wonder…. Other than that, very enjoyable time. Pizza was excellent, as was the local beer lineup
They claim to be an Italian restaurant or at least have some kind of Italian food… Well,… Say Italian here is like to say that all American are vegetarians
