Don’t know what it is with New Mexican folks loving ranch on pizza but this place has some of the creamiest quality ranch dressing ever. Better than Dions if you are from here. The Deep Dish is the way to go here. The only thing from being a 5-star is the slow kitchen
Finally. My husband and I are self proclaimed pizza enthusiasts. When we went to NYC last summer, we had three slices a day just to try as many pizzerias as possible. We are NYC pizza people, and Brickyard is the closest we have found in ABQ to the real thing. It is inexpensive, huge slices that are just the right amount of crispy. They have a great beer selection and happy hour. The service is slow… I once watched my Guinness sit on the bar for 15 minutes before it was brought to me (I was thirsty ok?) Other than that- it is our pizza place 🙂
Hardly any sauce on the pizza. Pizza was bland. Kitchen was slow. The customer service was good but the pizza was bad but what do you expect when you’re catering to college students.
Lobo Night. We went there on a Saturday evening (around 7) and we were able to walk in and sit at the table of our choice. We ordered the Lobo breadsticks and they were amazing. Its a tie between the hand tossed and pan pizza – we tried both and couldn’t pick a favorite. We would definitely go back!Although the service was not out of this world nobody was rude or pushy and that’s enough to ask for at a place targeted at college students I think.
Poor Service. I go to brickyard when I don’t have any other option. Although their pizza is great, the service is the worst. Every time I go in I have to flag down a waitress. I feel like if you are not part of a large group you’re ignored. The only redeeming factor, the only reason why I go back is the quality for the value of pizza. I always regret going there however because the service is so poor. More than once I have had to tell them they got my order wrong. If there was another cheap late night place around the university area with good food like this and BETTER service I would go there instead. Frontier doesn’t count.
Derek Young- Owner. Hello and thank you to all that have shared their experiences at the Brickyard!! We at Brickyard Pizza always strive to give the customer the best experience possible. Recently we have added 4 new ovens that have doubled our capacity in order to reduce customer wait times. Also added were four new draft handles, a new apple airport extreme, and 3x’s faster internet through comcast so that our wireless is blazing fast. We are truly grateful for all of our customers. Customers that continue to have great experiences, but also those customers that we have fallen short of our standards with. We would love to have the opportunity to get your business back!! You can always speak to a daily operator in the store and share your problems in the past, and I can guarantee we will do everything we can to earn your business back. Thanks again to our Loyal Customers and pay us a visit soon!!
Best calzone I’ve ever had. Though I haven’t eaten many calzones elsewhere, Brickyard’s certainly please my palate.
