Great food, if you’re not in a hurry. My server totally forgot which sandwich I had ordered and then got the order wrong (no surprise though). But when I did get my sandwich, it was great.
Easily the highest quality sandwich shop in the university area. Great subs with fresh ingredients, good selection of local draft beer, friendly prices, beautiful counter-culture decorations, and smiling faces from the staff on any given day.
Interesting environment. I thought the place was very witty and unique but did not like the sub I was served. I will try it again in the future and hopefully this time the food will be better.
Many vegetarian options!. I have a hard time finding a good vegetarian sandwich with more than the basics: cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle. At Cheba Hut, however, they have several wonderful vegetarian options, portobello mushroom sandwich, hummus, guacamole, etc. They have plenty of options with meat of course, which I hear are delicious as well. They are very friendly, and have some pretty delicious brownies. It’s also nice that there is a bar inside.
Cheba hut offers a delicious sandwich in a unique environment that is both welcoming and relaxing. The new patio is an excellent addition!! I love cheba hut and eat there whenever I get a chance.
Not Bad, Not Bad….. A little hokey in concept; Cheba Hut does manage to make a pretty decent Meatball sub. Much better than say, Subway or its neighbor Which Wich across the street. Nothing special going on here but you could alot do worse, It doesnt hurt that they serve Beer… drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com
