I had always heard of this place, and hoped that my visit would be amazing. It was! The chile here is just right and the beans are delicious as well. This place will have you drooling.

Meh. Food and service is okay. I’ve been a few times and always leave asking myself why did I come back? (beautiful patio) There are better options around Albuquerque. The prices seem to keep rising on the menu so I think this will be the last visit. $15 for a vegetarian platter at lunch is pricey even for Nob Hill.

This has been some of the best if not the best New Mexican food I have ever had. I had the green chile chicken enchiladas and they were delicious! The sauce was outstanding, the enchiladas were good and the side of potatoes brought everything together. After we finished our meal they brought out our Sopaipilla with honey for desert. Which is very well thought out, nobody wants a semi warm Sopaipilla when they could have a fresh one right out of the fryer. The service was also very good. This is definitely a place I will be visiting often.

Best New Mexican food hands down! This gem is small and so worth it. The quality of food is superb and genuine flavors. The green chile is amazing. The service is quick and attentive. When you’re craving excellent home cooked New Mexican food come here!

I’ve been going to El Patio for close to 40 years because the food is great, and not only great, but consistent. The chile is the right heat, the service is usually pretty good, the prices are right, and on a nice day there is little that beats sitting out on the patio. Consistency is a rarity in Albuquerque restaurants, but El Patio has always been superbly spot on. You’ve got to get there early when UNM is in session or there won’t be anyplace to sit for a while. The one thing on the menu that hasn’t worked for me are the friday fish tacos. Ironicly, too much stuff….the fish pieces are too big and you don’t need all the other crap that comes with it. They need to check out Sharky’s to see how fish tacos should be done…

Some of the best salsa in town this hidden house turned restaurant had a great mole with fresh made sopas (to be expected in the heart of Albuquerque) and a quaint atmosphere. If you want to impress a date, park along Harvard or Cornell and share a short walk to the restaurant.

Chilli crisps appetizer with white sauce fantastic. #8 (forgot name) but it was a slow cooked pork in red chilli with red and green chilli sauce was tender and balanced, awesome flavor. Soppopillos light airy and fresh. Service was fantastic. I’ll definetly go back
