Love this place. We have been eating at Gyros regularly for over 20 years. Never a bad meal in all those years. We love love love the food. And the employees are very friendly. This is the place for Greek food in Albuquerque!
Spanakopita Spa-na-ko-pi-ta. Unlike most other Geek restaurants in Abq, Gyros Mediterranean does not microwave their spanakopita. Instea it’s served hot and flaky with a nice crunch and flavorful filling. Everything here tastes fresh and portions are ample.
Absolutely the best gyro so far. The potato chips/fries is the brilliant!!!
WHAT HAPPENED. The food use to be good, not great but ok. NOW — UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH, Tabouli and Hommos, scooped out with ice cream scooper on top of regular salad. Tabouli old, Ive never seen cracked wheat look that bad, if it was cracked wheat. The pita hard, the falafel, which is real hard to mess up, was hard and tasted old. The tahini sauce watery. It was sad since I brought my family from out of town.
Had it for the first time yesterday, pleasantly surprised. It was 4.99 for a gyro and it was worth every penny. Great atmosphere, pleasant people. Two thumbs up!
Great Food!. We ordered the Souvlaki, Gyros Combo & Baklava. I spent 4 years in Athens Greece with the USAF and the zadziki sauce was PERFECT… With the owners name being Hantzopoulos, it’s got to be real. Just like a Taverna in Hellinikon.
Excellent. I had the dolmas that were heavenly as well as a gyro that was wonderfully appointed. A good eating experience that really hit the spot. Quite enjoyable.
