Lovely little local spot, only a few minutes walk from my house with solid coffee. Americano, mocha and the savory scones (from New Mexico Pie Company) are all delish!

Stopped in at humble coffee today for the first time, super excited about the chai I’ve been hearing so much about. They were out of chai so the girl behind the counter suggested a London fog, which is a perfectly acceptable alternative. So I ordered a London fog for my husband and a latte for me. It became clear that the barista was new, or inexperienced, which is fine, except no one seemed to be training him or even helping him. It also started to get busy so the drink orders were piling up. The latte came out quickly but there was a lot of mumbling behind the espresso machine about how to make a London fog. Once I had both my drinks I got in the car and we drove away. Wish we hadn’t. The London fog was a fail on every level. It was blistering hot water with essence of milk and a hint of earl grey. The latte was either made with burnt espresso shots or many, many shots of espresso. I’m not upset with the barista, but rather disappointed with everyone involved. The guy seemed inexperienced and no one took the initiative to step in and help. Since we were headed out of town we tossed the drinks and hit a drive thru Starbucks. The take away: don’t put a trainee on the line on a Sunday morning if you aren’t going to step in and help.

Wonderful. I walked into Humble Coffee with neither high nor low expectations, and I ended up loving it. It has a great atmosphere and vibe, and the food is delicious. My sister and I got the croissants with jam, and they were not that buttery crap you eat from Costco. They were real, authentic-tasting croissants. The chai is delicious, as are the burritos. 5/5!

Humble is honkin’ h-awesome!. I wanted to join the tiny dogpile to say that no matter what happened during the soft open, Humble is the real deal and serves amazing coffee in a comfortable space. It’s hipster coffee (google for ‘third wave coffee’ to get the drift) but dang if the hipsters ain’t on to something. The interior is gorgeous, the people are nice, and I wanted to buy a t-shirt the very first time I visited. That says something. Welcome to the Zendo/Mimmo’s/Fino third-wave club, Humble!

My boyfriend and I came here to try something different. We should have hit the road as soon as we walked in. Service was mediocre but the food was disgusting and he got the tinest coffee cup. The atmoshohere is cool if your into indie but I suggest you eat/drink coffee before hand.
