The food wasn’t the best, but definitely worth a visit. From what I could tell, it was one waitress for the whole place when we went, but it wasn’t too bad. The food was a tad under seasoned, and somewhat bland, expecting the flavor rush of middle eastern spice and fresh herbs. Overall, probably a 7 out of 10.
Awful Restaurant.. Kabob House is the worst middle eastern restaurant in Albuquerque. The cook seems to have no idea what they’re doing. The food tastes awful and is often cooked improperly. The service is bad as well. The staff is unprofessional. The restaurant itself is dirty and makes for an unpleasant eating environment. Though the same can be said about most every aspect of this restaurant. I used to come here when it was run by the old owner and it was always a pleasure to go then. The food was good, the server was great and the place was always neat. When it got this new owner everything changed and it seems to have become a completely different restaurant. One which i will neither go to again or recommend.
Delicious food. The food is very well made, especially there chicken breast kebobs, which I think was one of the best chicken iv had in awhile, it was deliciously seasoned ,very moist and juicy. They also have nice variety of specialty drinks and interesting deserts I highly recommend the Faloodeh Shirazi with pomegranate juice. There prices are ok not too much about average maybe a bit above with most of the menu starting at at least ten. Its atmosphere is pleasant and even with is smaller location does not feel claustrophobic. its tastefully decorated and has pleasant middle eastern music playing though maybe a bit to loudly. I will definitely be going back and sampling some more of there menu.
Fantastic food!! Great flavor!! Highly recommend the kashk basemjan, yogurt and dill salad, and any kebab. Yum!
Will definitely try more of this menu.. Went with a friend to try Kebab House and got more than we bargained for. The lamb Shislik was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The 4 bone-in chops were flavorful and only enhanced by the yogurt sauce and grilled and pickled garnisha generous plate for $13.99. The eggplant appetizer was plenty for 4 people to share. Very different from baba ganoush, with a creamy whet drizzled over all and sprinkled with crispy mint leaves. Served with a dark flatbread. Look for lamb, chicken, and beef, but no fish or seafood here.Lots of vegetarian options.
