HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES!!!. Last night I had dinner at Los Cuates restaurant with my father for the first time. I had left and come back 20 minutes later, remembering that I forgot my phone on the table. I used the Find my Phone app to track the phone down to the restaurant. It was pretty late at night and the restaurant had already closed, so the only people inside were employees. The employees and the manager had denied ever seeing this phone. Another hour later, I re-located my phone to one of the employees address using the same phone-tracking app and had to call APD so that they could recover the phone. The next morning, I wanted to let the manager know about what one of their employees did, so I called the restaurant only to be placed on hold for a few minutes, then hung up on. I called again and the manager was unable to get to the phone (even though I had stated it was important, regarding one of their employees). I left my contact information so that the manager could call back when he was less busy. He NEVER called back…I do NOT recommend this restaurant to anybody; they have un-ethical employees and horrible management. Los Cuates gave me a head-ache of trouble you never want to experience after enjoying a night out.

Best New Mexican Food in Albuquerque. I just recently visited Los Cuates during my visit to Albuquerque from CA. I lived in Albuquerque for a few years in the early 2000.s Their food is as delicious now as is was then. Their service is impeccable too. I appreciated the kindness they showed toward my daughter who passed away last year. Los Cuates was her favorite restaurant and I visited them in her honor. They supplied me with a menu for me to take home with me for her memorial.Thank you again! Nothing better than a Los Cuates dinner.Paul Gutierrez,Los Gatos, CA

I hate it!. I’ll never eat there again. The food gets worst daily. What happened? I used to love the original on Lomas but now it’s the worse Mexican food I’ve ever had.

Been coming here for years. Now live far away but visit when I can. Still good food, great price, love the sweet/hot salsa/picante. Been to both city locations, both good. Don’t know about airport.Update 2017. Still fantastic food. Frozen margaritas made from scratch not a machine. Carnitas enchiladas amazingly good. If you like a little heat, you’ll love the salsa. Smokey, dark, fiery. Soappillas just right. Pleasing decor. Great service.

Great Salsa. This is one salsa that tastes just as good out of the jar as it does fresh in the restaurant. I don’t know how they do it, but it is great. Good job Los Cuates.Randwww.newmexicochileproducts.com

Filling Meals Under $7. I’m always looking for good local food whatever my locale is. One of my friends, an Albuquerquean, sent me here.I’ve eaten here 3 times this week. Price is cheap around or under $7 for a full meal. Portions are large. Not many US restaurants give that quantity and quality for such a low price. The spicy: the mild sauce is a bit spicier than I like, but the food behind it is good enough that I’d be willing to get used to it. Seeing all the Seniors in the restaurant (I think it was early dinner time) really fooled me into thinking it wouldn’t be that spicy. But it didn’t kill my taste buds… and I’m pretty sensitive to spicy. I don’t like when it covers up the taste.Overall, this is good food. I’ll be coming back many times. And I plan to get used to the New Mexico level of spicy.
