Subway alternative. Basically a Subway that has a more ethnic perhaps just different twist that I find to be rather good. Instead of french/ Italian bread its pita bread and they grill the stake and chicken (both of which are yum and i recommend) right there also they have guacamole and hummus and its not extra. its a little bit more expensive but not by much and well worth it…one thing to know though is try not to go when its busy so you can take your time deciding between the different toppings and not feel rushed and the employes are also more inclined to just put a bunch of what you ask for without complaint. Id also say don’t let the person making it put anything less then the amount you want of anything some are generous with there portions and some are not don’t let them guilt you into having a smaller amount then you want it makes the difference between a good and bad expirance with the place. iv left feeling really happy and pleased with the place just to feel disported the next time because the person making the pita was being skimpy on a toping and I did not feel like speaking up but I feel thats more the exception then the norm do more to timing. its over all a grate place when you feel like a sandwich but don’t want a sandwich. its also open really late which is hard to find in ABQ, an actually rather good and pleasant meal after midnight its worth it just for that.
Great food and friendly customer service. Loved the Pita-Roni.
I like the gyros, but not the staff, which seems to get worse with each visit (have been there 3-times). The goth chick working last night was the worst yet. Bad attitude, unappetizing to look at.
Nasty food!. I could not eat the food it was terrible! My wife got sick!
Great food for a great price!. We had never been into a Pita Pit but at the recommendation of our college student we went in. Wow, it was so yummy! Now I just want one of these by my home!
Pretty Good. Pretty good but you can just go to Sunflower and make the same thing yourself. Also, the pita bread Sunflower has tastes better. Anyway, if you like this kind of food just go to Sahara up the street and get a falafel sandwich or something, they have the BEST falafel in town.
Decent. When I first starting going to the ABQ location the customer service was amazing. It has since dropped off a bit but nonetheless I still enjoy the pitas. I like how late they are open as well.
