The Pita Pit is an excellent place to eat a better lunch (or dinner) in the UNM area. Typically compared to Subway, it offers a similar experience with a build-your-own stuffed pita. I prefer this to Subway. You get a great meal and at a very good price, considering what you get. You can stuff your pita as big as you want, with all the goodies that you want, and I do. They have a dining area as well as delivery, so there are few drawbacks to this place, and none worth mentioning.
