Great food in a fun atmosphere, very friendly staff. Rated best Calzone in Albuquerque and the meat calzone did not disappoint. Recommend giving the rosemary dough a try with your parents pizza. The kids enjoyed all the neat decorations.
Saggio’s food is super great. How they manage to pack so much quality into every kind of dish – from pizza to pastas and sandwiches and a dozen little things in between – in such a bonkers busy atmosphere? Amazing. It’s quirky and unique and has a real sense of place about it. My only complaint is that the counter service model loses all appeal on a busy night. Do I want to go through that nuts line with my kiddo, and then juggle a bunch of giant platters of food as we jockey for a table? Hell no. While the food is kid-friendly, the set up is too stressful with little ones in tow.
