Tried this when I was feeling adventurous with my best friend she had tried it before and said she liked it. I thought I’d give it a go and I’m glad I did it’s one of those places that I can’t say bad about. The combo gives you a little bit of everything (if you’re a newbie like I was) and you can decide what you like from there. I will miss it in the UNM Sub and will definitely be taking my walk over there instead.
Good food and friendly service. This is one of the better Mediterranean eateries in town. The plates are very generous and the rice is probably one of the best. The owner is a great business man, always greeting his customers and seems to have a lot of regulars. Definitely worth driving to the University area from the other side of town.
I had very good gluten free and dairy free food there. This needs to come up on the search. Owner was super friendly and helpful.
Maqloobeh on Thursdays is awesome, and their hot sauce (shatta) is excellent with everything! Best place in the University area for a bite to eat, along with times square deli mart.
Good, cheap, and kid friendly but waaaaaaay too salty.

Perfect Every Time!. The Sahara Middle Eastern Eatery is one of my favorite restaurants i have ever been to! I have ordered the combination plate on multiple different occasions over the last year and it is perfect every time and big enough for splitting between two people. I really enjoyed everything i have tried here, i highly highly recommend the falafel! The desserts are also very delicious. Very friendly staff. All in all, great restaurant, worth it everytime!
