Satiating. I started eating at Soo Bak because I had to change my diet to mostly vegetarian due to health issues. At Soo Bak I can get a delicious vegetarian meal and whoever I’m with has the option of getting meat or tempura onion rings! Plus, I am now a huge fan of their bibimbap which is absolutely amazing. I seriously can’t get enough of this food truck!
Spicy pork tacos are soooo good I ate 4 of them in one sitting the first time I tried Soo Bak, also the onion rings were delicious. The next time I wanted to try something different so I had the Kim Bap which is a vegetarian sushi roll, it was very tasty and it was a nice refreshing lunch on a hot summer day. It also goes surprisingly well with the wildflower beer at Marble Brewery which is where you can find the SooBak Foodtruck on Sunday afternoon/evening… The third time I went ( I’m clearly a regular at this point) I had the kimchi chili cheese fries and beef lettuce wraps with sticky white rice and as usual I was not disappointed, I would eat Soo Bak a lot more often if I didn’t live an hour away! You can find their daily location by looking on their twitter or facebook pages soobak foods or the website http://www.soobakfoods.com They also cater events and take the truck to special festivals and events where they feature specials such as watermelon gazpacho and green chili, pumpkin, and fresh seasonal vegetable tempura… So it isn’t just Korean, it’s a fusion, and it’s always delicious, everytime I’ve eaten there!
Nice addition to ABQ. Liked the lettuce wraps, meat was deliciously seasoned. The vegetarian potstickers were not particularly impressive as to the dough used, filling was good. But their take on chile cheese fries was very tasty. This food truck and nice beer from Tractor make for a great respite after a busy day.
Loved it. I’m honestly a little surprised that there isn’t more love for Soo Bak around these parts. I’ve had the spicy pork tacos and the kimchi chili cheese fries, and both dishes are… so tasty.
Amazing, must try it. I had their special. I think it was called a marble porter brisket. but it was soo good. And their green Chile cheese fries with mushrooms oooohhhhhhh YEAH!
Delicious Saturday Treat!. I’ve come to love the ease of ambiance Tractor offers. With no one particular server and a bevvy of food trucks to delight, I will have fun no matter what. Soo Bak was so delicious EVERY TIME. Great balance for the so-so days and excellent tacos. They were so great 2 people told me they were the best thing on the menu before the food even arrived. Excellent!
So So for Soo Bak. Unfortunately, my lunch was not nearly as good as my friend’s lunch. I ordered the kimchi and rice with Korean BBQ beef and he got the spicy pork tacos. The beef on my lunch was so overcooked it was inedible. My teeth starting hurting after trying to chew the first piece, so I wound up having to toss the rest (very hard for me to do since I hate wasting food). Also, the majority of my side of kimchi consisted mostly of a remnant of cabbage core. Maybe the trimmings fell into the kimchi pot by mistake. My friend said his tacos were delicious and they looked yummy, too. If I go back, I will definitely give the tacos a try.
