The restaurant is nice and has a pleasant atmosphere with there lighting being kinda cool with hanging bulbs sorta Simi-romantic if not Asian in aesthetic. The service is kinda slow so it’s not a quick stop but perfect for a date or social encounter were you’d like to talk and not be rushed best for dinner which takes full advantage of the lights. The food is very good if a tad on the bland side if your into spicy Asian food but still good there Mongolian chicken which I had was good though I do recommend getting the rice with it which was extra so that was lame but at the end of the meal I got a free sesame ball with red bean paste filling which was vary tasty so it evens out. I really recommend trying there raspberry macaroons which is odd maybe in an Asian restaurant but there awesome.
The food here is always good, IF they get your order correct. Every time I have been here with friends at least one of our orders was brought to the table NOT as requested. Quality is high, but service is very very poor. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic, which makes most experiences here overall very positive, however, I often leave feeling like I spent a LOT of money. I suggest taking advantage of any Groupon you see and speak up if your food is not as you ordered it – maybe they will improve in time.
Great from beginning to end. The menu has tons of options and they all looked quality. I had the siracha chicken and it was my favorite dish I have had in a while. The fried banana coconut is a great dessert as well. I am here on a business trip and plan on coming back again before I leave. 5 stars.
Really bad. We went twice, two groupons. There has to be a reason why this place is constantly on groupon. First time had yellow curry, bland with an off flavor. Unseasoned tofu. The second time I had the lettuce wrap with tofu and mango sauce. About five unseasoned blocks of tofu with wilted lettuce (how do you eat this as a lettuce wrap?) and some really uncooked hard rice noodles that I literally had to be careful not to hurt my teeth. My boyfriend had udon noodles and they were okay… Nothing special and again under seasoned. Very weird. We literally saw our waitress one time, to take our orders. Never saw her again. Someone else brought water and someone else brought the ticket. Not going back, groupon or not.
Street Food Asia. The curry and tofu here are pretty good! The service was a little slow but the food was very tasty!
Something has gone very wrong here.. When Street Food Asia first opened it was fabulous. They served a complimentary dessert and the service was impeccable. The last 2 times I have been there, which will be my last 2 times ever, the place was all screwed up. The service is horrible. Your server can disappear for a long time and you have to wait and wait until she pops back into sight. The food is not prepared with the special care it was in the beginning and the complimentary dessert idea is over. It is so frustrating to eat that that I’m going to go there again. There are so many other choices next door and across the street, who needs them. Major disappointment… in addition, the people we were sitting next to were suffering just as much as we were. It was unprofessional and where do the servers disappear to for 10-15 minutes?
