I’m thrilled to find a local hard apple cider!!
Friendly atmosphere. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy my weekly trip to Tractor. Although I do find the beer to be inconsistent and often times bland, the staff is typically very nice and the atmosphere is awesome. It’s also a plus that they allow dogs and serve La Cumbre. Props for supporting other local microbrews!
Tractor Brewing has the worst beer of any craft beer brewery in the state. The IPA is not even an IPA. The Saison is terrible. The stout is mediocre. Seriously, I wish a brewery that had real beer would have gotten that spot because tractor does enjoy the best spot for a tap room in the city. That is a complete shame because places like La Cumbre, Marble, Chama and soon to be Boar’s Nest and Bosque brewing blow this terrible beer out of the water. But then again, people who go here probably enjoy Pabst, so you can’t really trust their taste in beer.
Not the best. I really like the patio and the atmosphere, but I don’t like the beer. I really wish there were more local breweries that offered better brews. The couple times I have been there the waitstaff has not been friendly. I think my biggest issue with any establishment in Albuquerque is people who work in the customer service industries are not friendly here and this is coming from someone who has served and worked in bars. I grew up in the NW and any bar/ club/ restaurant you walk into, the service is so much better and the people are so much friendlier. I really don’t like the collective attitude in the southwest. and I have yet to find a pub or brewery here that doesn’t reiterate that.
Its a standard. Great bar, outstanding beers, great people, food trucks,
Awesome Little Joint. Denver native, looking for the best craft brew pub in Abq. This place is second in overall enjoyment only to Turtle Mountain Brewery. I love that it’s small and non-observing. Same waitstaff the couple times I’ve been in there. Only one or two actually know anything about beer, so know your stuff or what you like before you go in. Or get a sampler and try ’em all. The Farmer’s Almanac IPA is fantastic. The wheat they have on tap is more of a German/Belguim Hefeweizen than an American wheat, either way, do it with a lemon. And if your really ambitious try the Barley Wine. I’ll continue to go back to this one for the beer, staff, and overall ambiance.
Nice people, great beer, great place to sit for a while. Very nice staff. good beer with helpful suggestions from the bartender as to which ones to try according to my tastes. not quite sure why this is listed as a diner….they dont have food but the bartender has a stack of carry-out menus, and the restaurants are accustomed to delivering there.
