Best kept secret in town. H. S. girlfriend and I met up at a recent class reunion; she took me there and it is one fabulous place. We like the booths.

We went for a special occasion and it was the perfect place to celebrate.Food was outstanding as was the service and attention. My wife had a veal dish and I had the Henry IV.If you’re going there with one other person the small booths in the back are very nice.

What a nice place. We had reservations at 8:30pm and we were seated quickly when we arrived. The stuffed mushrooms were an amazing appetizer. I loved the jalapeno scallops and enjoyed every bite. My boyfriend had the salmon and it was super moist. The staff were very professional and quick with service. I would go back and recommend it to others.

Romantic. I love this place for the romantic atmosphere. We had tremendous service. It is expensive and you definitely get what you pay for.

Birthday dinner. Wow, the best food ever. I had the cocoanut, mushroom, chicken soup. My husband had the special which was a large pork chop. He said it was the best he has ever had. I also had the stuffed mushrooms for my main course. They were fabulous. My best birthday dinner ever in almost 60 years.

Mediocre and Pricey. Had a really substandard meal here recently. The stuffed mushrooms were actively unappetizing; the beef carpaccio was alright, but bland; The special I had was fish and was well cooked, but it was sauced with a tarry reduction of what I think must have been soy, wasabi, and sesame. I understand trying to harness Japanese flavors, but this sauce didn’t taste good and even if it had it would have been too much for the delicate fish it was applied to. Overall, it was over forty dollars for a meal that, if I were asked to eat it again, I would ask to be paid. I will say that other members of my party who ordered from the standard menu, rather than the specials, seemed to have a much better experience than I did, but it was far from perfect.. I was probably an unlucky customer on a bad night who chose the exact wrong selection, but for that much money I expect a better worst-case-scenario.
