The mini chimis appetizer is something I order everytime I go there. I usually ask for a combo with both chicken and pork. It is a great quality burrito that is deep fried and cut upand served with a really good queso dip. The pulled pork sandwich is also a good choice, it canbe a bit salty by itself but with all the toppings it evens out.I have recenty stopped going here during the weekend, this place is small and when they open up the patio the staff can easily get overwhelmed. I came for a late lunch at 2 pm and we sat there for 15 minutes without even an offer to get us water. Luckily I remembered Larry’s review for the Slate Caf next door in the Museumand we had a good experience over there. Thanks Larry!

Friend and I went for an early dinner before a concert. We were looking to eat light before we sat in sun. Got there at about 5PM. We chose to sit in, as it was a hot day. Got menus, then we waited…Chris came around, took drink order-water only. 10 minutes, got water. Order taken. Got quesadillas with beef barbaquoa, and mini-chimi’s. Food was okay. One bite of quesadilla, was fat/grizzle. Can’t believe this is a $$ restaurant! No refill on water!The eat-in spot was hot. The service was awful. Food was mediocre. Another place that over-charges tourists.
I really enjoyed this place when I visited on NYE in 2014. Great happy hour as well, with good and efficient service. Will definitely be returning when I am in Old Town again.

Great find on accident. We were looking for a quaint place to eat and have a drink and saw this place back in a cove of buildings. We decided to try it and were very happy we did. We were staying in Santa Fe with family and found the average customer service to be mediocre there, so the service at the Backstreet Grille was very much appreciated. The food was very good and the prickly pear margaritas were wonderful.We will return during our next trip to the area this summer.
No Pizza. We ordered Pizza but they came out and said the Pizza oven would not come on. Everything else went fine. Very good service but we didn’t get what we wanted.
