Great place to eat! Great staff.. This place was great! It was busy, but they greeted everyone that walked in with a smile and/or had a small conversation with everyone. There were the usual’s and the newby’s like me. I ordered the french dip with green chile and the posole. both were great with lots of flavor. The price was right where it should be in terms of portions and quality. i recommend this place.

The best cheddar baked potato soup you will ever encounter on a Thursday in Albuquerque. Sinful homemade cakes and cookies. Oh and if you crave a sandwich with fresh veggies and quality meats and breads this is the place to go! Friendly service always.
AWESOME. I have been going to the Louisiana location for at least 7 years. I was happy to know that they opened this additional location and the food is just as great. The Rio Grande is my favorite sandwich. Great sandwich variety. Food is fresh and tastes great. I would definitely recommend.
This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. It’s a small restaurant where I’m known by name. I have liked everything I have gotten there. The few times I haven’t finished my food I get asked immediately if there was something wrong and its taken off my bill even if I don’t ask for that service. I love that its a small place where I can sit and read while I eat. It’s also one of the few places I can take my spouse and children and they all find something they like. The food is very good but one of my favorite things is their fruit salad. It is so fresh and satisfying and the fruit still has flavor and isn’t a bland blend of fruit. Lastly the desserts are delicious. The cookies taste homemade as do the cakes. I usually only eat desserts that are chocolate but there ill try and usually enjoy anything they make. I would and have recommended this place all the time.
5 stars. This is truly a hidden gem…..First off I didn’t even have the door closed behind me and I was greeted at the door. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. As soon as I sat down the server was there to take my drink order. After reviewing the wide variety of sandwiches I decided to have the Arty special. This sandwich was the bomb, It was loaded with ham, bacon, cheddar cheese and the best tasting green chile and was grilled to perfection on sourdough bread. I also got a side of apple waldorf salad. This salad was so tasty. My friend and I were so full but we still decided to have a piece of the lemon cake…..OH MY…that was the best cake I have ever had. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service was so fast and the servers were so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. I would give Cheese and Coffee 10 stars. Keep up the good work.
Terrible. The service was awful. Completely neglected at the table, no effort to be friendly at all, the waitress repeated 2 orders wrong 2 times. After 40 minutes of waiting for a sandwich finally had to get up and hunt down a server to try to get it boxed to go. After 10 more minutes of waiting and being ignored, I finally had to walk out to go back to work. I will never eat at this mediocre establishment again.
