I have been going to Los Compadres for a very long time. This past weekend was waiting for 20 minutes to get a table us and many other people. Tables were available but not clean, when another customer walks in i know he is a regular customer because i have seen him there all the time. He puts his name on the list and request to be seated with a certain waitress. So as we all wait this man gets seated within 5 minutes of his arrival. When we get seated we waited for a good 15 minutes more no one was coming to serve our table, i kindly asked one of the waitresses if this was her area she said No and walked away very rude. So come to find out our waitress was sitting down with the customer that had requested for her as it was they seemed to be short handed. I felt very upset, on top of that when she finally did come around she took care of other people that were there after us. This place lacks of owner attention, the people that work there don;t care to even clean. At the time the owners were not available, So sad to have received such bad service. Sorry to say its not been the first time this has happened.

Everyone has their own opinions, mine is their service and food is great! I give them . Everything I order on the manu is great, there’s a variety from hamburgers, breakfast, to steak dinners. It’s just good food!

Poor service, the chips left a greasy after taste. Burger had been cooked in greasy pan. Tables were not clean to standards. The guy behind the register was texting on his phone, snacking. Where he should be helping wait staff clean tables. I would not go back. If you enjoy a greasy after taste then go ahead.
Just left los compadres restaurant and will not be returning our food was horrible they forgot half our order and condiments super greasy…

Equal to None. I went to Los Compadres at least once a week for more than 10 years when it was a few blocks away from my home in the South Valley. The food is the best New Mexican/Mexican in Albuquerque, in my opinion. The breakfast burrito is maravilloso, and the rest chile is incredible. I continued to be a regular customer after they moved west of Old Town, even though I couldn’t walk there any more. Now I’m living in Kansas and am looking forward to my next Albuquerque visit so I get some more red chile to go and savor it at my new home.
