Vinaigrette Salad Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants downtown. They are a bright and colorful restaurant with a real farm-to-table atmosphere. They have two patios: one out front and one out back. The back patio is my favorite. It has lots of shade and fresh light with a scenic garden. I find it to be the busiest from about 11:30 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m.In addition to all of the classic salads you’re used to and then they have a whole selection of signature salads that have their own unique flare. I’ve had a few of their signature salads, but my favorite is The Beet Goes On. I never used to like beets, but then this salad changed all that. The combination of sweet beets, creamy goat cheese, and crunch pistachios is so delicious and satisfying. It’s hard for me to order anything else when I come here.If you haven’t filled up on salad, then you should definitely indulge in dessert. Their Gluten Free, Flourless Chocolate Torte is like a little piece of heave – so rich and delicious. I just wish they would make it more clear about all the items on their menu that are gluten free and which items could be made gluten free. I’d also hope they would take the necessary training measures to make sure the staff understands what gluten is, what cross-contamination is, how to avoid it and ensure that a gluten free meal stays gluten free. I wish they would address this on their menu.I would definitely recommend eating here.

Nothing to write home about, unless an $11 turkey sandwich turns your crank. Pretentious spot to ‘be seen’.

Newbie. This was my first visit, so I was checking out the place, food, and service. Nice building and plenty of parking. The tables were long rows of bench seating w/ chairs in the other side…. In twos. Very trendy food choices. I was limited as to what I could eat, but chose the potato appetizer. It was deposited on our table w/o plates for use to pick at w/our own forks( used fork for next bite?!) had to ask for small plates to serve ourselves to nit contaminate the food w/ our germs. Waitress inattentive to our needs… Had to flag her down to ask for drink refill and tell her the Broccoli salad didn’t taste good. Our meal arrived w/ expressionless face of our waitress. I had the Turkey/cheese/avocado on grilled sourdough. It was tasty, but seemed it was on petite bread slices. The garden salad tased good, just very small serving. We split dessert; carrot cake was divine, also small portion. The waitress seemed to not like her job!! No facial expression or convo in the process of serving us. The food I had was relish, but small; salute to the Chef! Wait staff need to learn people skills. The only waitperson who talked to us was an older gentleman w/ a beanie and scruffy beard offering to take my payment ( not our waitress)! I won’t return unless I’m forced to.. By my meal partner really wanting to eat there. Very disappointed.. Didn’t leave there w/ happy feelings… I cook, so I appreciate the effort to prepare the food… Need more selections that are not trendy… Was pleasant to taste REAL not hydroponic tomatoes!! Was let down by our dinner choice. It was not even busy when we were there either.Hope your experience goes better.

Great food. Service was a little slow. Omega salad is awesome. Black bean soup made me weak in the knees. My dad loved the Reuben.

Not Sure Yet. I love salads so I was super excited to try this place out. I ordered the Greek salad and it wasn’t very good. The salad was just chopped up cucumbers and a few other Greek salad items. The salad had entirely too much dressing and just wasn’t very good. I’m not ready to completely give up on this place but the Greek salad wasn’t a good choice.

Great Food – Absent service. Really love Vinaigrette’s salads, bread, drinks, everything! One thing I don’t like is the service. Past two times I have been there, we have waited anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes before a waiter even acknowledged us. The last time we had to go track someone down to take our order. Please match your service to your quality of food por favor!
