This place was a happy surprise when we were stranded in Raton due to the pass to Colorado being closed. Nice people, great food. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few over the years of traveling!
The food was just ok. The chips were not good but the salsa was amazing! The quesadilla wasn’t too bad. The waitress was really nice but didn’t come around very often.
We stopped here based on good Trip Advisor reviews. The combo fajitas were amazing – came out sizzling and very flavorful. Ranchero burrito with shredded beef and green Chile sauce was also a hit. Excellent service. We would stop here again.
We ordered to go and really liked the beef fajitas. You should probably ask for a couple of extra tortillas as there is enough to make several fajita tacos.
We enjoy our dinners of enchilatas and what was called a Colorado plate. Both the green chili sauce and the red sauces were really good. Breakfast, if you stay at the motel can be one of 5 meals or upgrade with $5 off.
