UPDATE: 4/13/18 – STILL TOTALLY AWESOME to borrow an 80’s phrase. Chef Kim and her band of merry cooks continue rockin’ the kitchen. OMG . . . the cod . . . . I’ve really decided this is something I’ve got to have about once a week or so. Just yummy. I ordered the kid a breakfast burrito with bacon and red chile. He hasn’t stopped raving about it. My friends at work love going here on Fridays. Keep up the wonderful quality, and we love you Chef Kim. The food at the Seasonal Palate is AWESOME! I started at the breakfast burritos which featured very fresh eggs, delish bacon or sausage,tatersand hot green chile. Then I moved on to the lunch menu from the po boy, the shrimp and kale salad, chicken salad, andspicy Asian salad. I have to say fish is my FAVORITE. The yummy fish which is served with delish tartar sauce and malt vinegar . . . the first time, I just dumped the contents on everything and didn’t come upto breathe until I was done. It was a bit messy, but I was so happy; I didn’t mind. I’ve had the meals to go a couple of times, and the turkey and dressing and meatloaf were much better than mom’s (Sorry Mom!) The juices whichfeature fresh veggies/fruit — I love the beet drink mixed with apple and green veggie stuff. Itwas tasty, and I felt super healthy after. The coconut lime bars and brownies are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Chef Kim is a rock star!!! I am happy this is local and sustainable.I know catered events are the reason why the storefront is sometimes not open;but that’s okay with me. I will still return for another meal another time. I wish her luck, and I’d like her to know we support her fully. If you are looking for good food that makes you feel good, look no further. It’s reasonably priced food that is healthy and fresh. There are no preservatives here. See you soon!!!!!
