Top Notch New Mexican Red Chile. This is a great place to stop for a bowl of red on your way to and fro between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.The red chile is one of the most consistently flavorful we’ve had in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. We always blissfully drove by on I-25 until we learned of it’s existence a few years back in a Saveur article on New Mexico road food.I haven’t yet tried their breakfasts or burgers as the lure of a great bowl of flavorful and bracing red has won out so far.Note: This restaurant is located ~ 10 miles north of the town of Bernallilo on San Felipe Pueblo just off of I-25. The restaurant is part of the Travel Center which includes a gas station at the San Felipe Pueblo Casino and Speedway.
