About
Take a step back in time! The Black Bird Saloon is in the historic village of Cerrillos, NM off HWY 14 on the Turquoise Trail. Housed in a building that was built in 1885, this traditional and authentic saloon is reminiscent of the old west and mining days at the turn of the 20th Century. During the mining boom of the late 1800's Cerrillos was slated to be the Capital of NM, but was later decided on Santa Fe. Come enjoy our place off the beaten path and the tranquility of our village.Details

Mid afternoon and time to kill at the Black BIrd makes a great fall afternoon all worth it.I order the Black Jack sandwich with extra cilantro and gun powder and boy was it great.
Had an exceptional burger with live music. The beer selection was great too. The owners are friendly and so is the community.
