My Tia’s restaurant is situated in the heart of Cerro, close to the National Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. It is the favorite hangout place for people from the small community, and the food is always prepared fresh and each dish has a delightful, homemade flavor. From any seat, you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chefs working. The owner takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients, and harvests organic veggies from the nearby co-op. The service is always super friendly, we stop here every chance we can. If you need any advice on the area, be sure to ask the staff! My favorite and personal recommendation are fish tacos and (gigantic & delicious) breakfast burritos!

Tia’s Cafe. Tias prices are reasonable, the beans and Chile are homemade. The service is always with a smile. You leave there with a smile and a full belly. Finding the place was a little hard but worth but worth the Treasure Hunt Yum

The Real Deal. This is a small, family-run place in the village of Cerro, outside of Questa on the way to the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. Everything here is homemade–include the red and green chile. It’s simple, delicious, authentic New Mexican food with no frills. They open for breakfast on the weekends and do lunch and dinner Thursday through Monday. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood.
